Trump's Business Acumen

:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Trump has hit Russia with sanctions, sold JAVELIN ( wireless TOW) to Ukraine militias, upgareded their communications ( which Obama would not do) and closed the Seattle consulate

They have to desperately hang onto something Russian there. Seeing as how the other accusations they were hanging their hat on did not materialize.

Yes

he was a constitutional expert instead

B.O.. mocked Stephanapolous for calling the ACA penalty a tax. B.O. insisted it was a fee. B.O. was WRONG. :palm:

B.O. couldn't even get that right.

it showed.
he regulated the economy to such a measure GDP was stunted. In other words he was a drag on the economy.

Trump comes in and takes off the brakes, and gives it a little gas....BOOM

Barak fixed the mess you idiots made

now trump it trying to hand us to the Russians idiot

Yes. But I'm not even sure he's terribly skilled at that. If he'd been born poor, and had to hustle to put together scams without his father's money and name, would he have been even moderately successful? Or would he have been one of those Ralph Kramden types, who always had some harebrained scheme for making it big, but never got very far? Would he have been a three-card-monty scam artist, out on the street, barely clearing the poverty level despite being completely unburdened by ethics and empathy?

Given the way his return on his father's hand-outs was far below even the level of mediocrity, I'm not sure he was all that skilled at running a con.... at least a business con. His political con was somewhat more successful (though even there, three million more people voted against him than for him).

Trump is a marketing genius. Not sure how to deny that. Even with multiple business failures he still convinced people his brand was the gold standard and had people pay him millions to put his name on their buildings.

Just think if you and your crew were a credibility salvage operation. You'd be $et for life doing deep dive$ on the Dem$. :awesome:

Were you aware that on Obama's watch we had the third-longest period economic growth in all of American history, and that US GDP growth was higher, on average, than that of other wealthy nations in the same period?

Specifically, during the Obama years, the arithmetic average GDP growth per year was 1.52%, compared to 1.23% for Great Britain, 0.60% for Japan, 1.08% for Germany, 0.63% for France, and -0.72% for Italy. It was a time of a global economic slowdown, yet the US slowed down considerably less than most of its peers.

Trump came in and ran up gigantic deficits, yet we've had only modest GDP growth.

Huh? It's like you've completely missed the fact that the Russia collusion theory ended up being correct, and that there have been a string of top Trump officials who have either been indicted, convicted, or pleaded guilty.

People are suing to get his name off buildings.

I suppose the success of his marketing depends on the audience. In low-education-level societies (like most red states), his gold-plated chintz brand plays well, while in higher-education areas (like New York, where that suit is happening) people see his brand as embarrassing.

They're suing today. I'm talking about his past. Up until his run for President people were still doing deals with the Trump brand. And considering there are Trump Towers in NYC and Chicago I don't know that your low education level societies analogy is an accurate. What red states have Trump Towers? Heck, we have Trump National golf courses in Southern California.

Trump is all New York City. So I know liberals think themselves culturally superior but he's all NYC.

Really? When was Trump charged? What evidence has connected him directly to Russian collusion? That was the Democrats claim to fame. The one that would lead to impeachment. Do you know things others do not?

that was jobs growth, and yes I'm aware, and yes I give Obama credit for that because I'm not a partisan hack.
Unlike some people who won't give credit to Trump for the BOOM.

The GDP was higher because the other countries used an austerity approach, rather then a stimulus.
But clearly deregulation as well as tax reform is causing a Trump boom across all sectors ( not a bubble).
I'm pretty sure we'll get an annual GDP of 3% this year - Obama did not come close

Trump came in and ran up gigantic deficits, yet we've had only modest GDP growth.
I blame Ryan and the Dems for forcing domestic spending increases.
Because the sequestor had hollowed our our military, and Trump has to sign that - even though he said he didn't want to and would not do it again. Obama did his own deficit blow up. $10t to $20t on his watch.

As CommanderInChief Trump was not going to sit by and let good pilot leave because they were not getting paid -or having to scrounge the Boneyard and museum pieces for spare parts (etc.)

Trump GDP growth is much more then "modest" for 2018.

LOL..you are not serious with that are you?

as far as I know all the Trump guys with the exception of Manafort - who's crimes had nothing to do with being campaign manager ( happened much earlier) are all "process crimes"
Meaning if their was no Mueller investigation there would have been no crimes ( lying to the FBI)..

There was no "Russian collusion"

The red states tend to have casinos and golf courses, instead.

Anyway, I suppose I'm not old enough to know what kind of feel the Trump brand had back in the days before his tawdry reality TV show, etc. Maybe, at one point, it was seen as legitimately fancy. But now it has the feel of a gold-plated plastic toilet seat -- like something a poor guy thinks a rich guy would think was classy.

Trump is all New York City.

He may be, but NYC isn't Trump. New Yorkers can't stand the guy. There's a reason Clinton absolutely demolished him in the election in New York, especially in Manhattan (where she got about nine votes for every one he got). Trump has always aspired to acceptance from New Yorkers, but they can't stand the guy. He's most popular in ultra-low-education places like West Virginia.

What makes you imagine someone suggested Trump had been charged? Be specific, please.

What evidence has connected him directly to Russian collusion?

This right-wing tendency to try to get others to adopt the straw men of their own inventions, so they can have something in their weight class to fight, just doesn't do it for me. Address my actual points, not things you wish I'd said.

As you're well aware, the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. Trump's son, son-in-law, and campaign chair all secretly met with known agents of the Russian government for the express purpose of getting assistance from Putin's regime against their opponent. That's collusion.

ridiculous.
first off use a legal term not a political term. Collusion is how we talk about it, but what Mueller is investigating
is what would be a corrupt conspiracy or not.

There was an offer of a meeting to get dirt on Hillary. The meeting was accepted -but that's as far as it went.
and even that didn't happen ( unlike Hillary disguising her "legal fees" Fusion GPS payments to Steel -a foreign agent

A Trump conspiracy would have to show both parties working towards a corrupt goal.
there would have had to be some quid pro quo other then just agreeing to a meeting for opposition research.

In other words the meeting would have had to come to some fruition of a conspiracy - a plan to work together for a corruptive purpose

Most people already knew Donald Trump was a grifter and no good son-of-a-bitch!

But, that is what the Trump idiots wanted!

You would have to be a full-blown idiot to have not known this many years ago!
