Catch and release was a failure of policy. They would not show up to court and hide. You can do better.

Perhaps if it is a temporary thing, I am OK with it.

But, Donald Trump is trying to put the detainees behind the confides of military bases so that the way they are treated is kept out of the public eye!

The problem with Donald Trump is you give him an inch, and he takes a light year!

Here again, Donald Trump is just seeing what all he can get by with- outside the public eye!

Just more of his covering his tracks and hiding thing- trying to deceive the public.

We didn't have overcrowded concentration camps when we had "catch and release".

You decided to end "catch and release' because you wanted to create concentration camps.

1) The detainees are there because they CHOOSE to be there. They are not held by force. They are free to go back to their country of origin at any time.

2) The detainees are not 'held without trial', they are awaiting processing. Either via amnesty or deportation.

3) The detainees either are seeking asylum, in which case they chose to be there and go through our process, or they are here illegally and again CHOSE to violate our laws. They are not being rounded up, arrested without cause, detained without due process or anything resembling a concentration camp.

4) AOC was specifically comparing them to Nazi concentration camps. Hence her reference to 'Never Again'.

So no, they are not in the realm of concentration camp by any standard. Especially the one the moronic AOC referred to.
