Saint Kyle!

Agreed with your logic but you're trying to explain it to a young person who, if the shooter had been a Democrat against three militia punks, would be advocating for the death penalty.

He has no sense of morality except the politics in which he is immersed.

A lot of posters seem to forget, this is not a moral, or political question; it is a legal question. There is a Constitutional right to freedom of speech. To get around that, Rittenhouse needs to prove that Goldberg nearly absolutely knew he was innocent. Given his indictment was public... She can prove that she knew he was most likely guilty.

Kyle is a public figure which makes him fair game. He put himself out there and is now whining that others paid attention.

The lawyers, but most of all the people asking for money from the alt right (whether they are lawyers or not).

No doubt, like Dear Leader, there are scumbags who seek to employ the maxim "A fool and his money are soon parted."

Oliver Sipple was a real hero, who did not want to be a real hero. Most of all, he did not want to be a public figure. He guarded his privacy above all. For he was a homosexual in 1975.

Sipple saw another person in a crowd try to kill President Ford. He risked his own life to take the gun from the assassins hand. By doing that act, he made himself a public figure. As a public figure, the newspapers could publish about his homosexuality, and destroy his life.

The courts decided that even if he was a public figure against his will, he was still a public figure. That precedence stands.

Looks like Kyle will be sucking eggs. LOL

It might possibly be a different story if he had resumed a private life out of the spotlight. Instead, he keeps finding new spotlights to jump into. He deliberately chooses to keep himself a public figure, and thus is fair game for any *opinion* comments about his actions.

Another way to look at it is the rule here against making 12b accusations of pedo shit at other members. It's okay, on the other hand, to discuss that topic in regards to public figures (i.e. Epstein). We members are all private individuals whose reputations could truly be harmed by such accusations. JPP's owner could be held liable for such harm.

True. OTOH, I wonder how much of that is choice and how much is "only option" like with Zimmerman per our previous discussion about the Left continually hounding them.

Still, the bottom line is he's a public figure and will likely lose the suit if it goes to court.
