He is stuck and lost as his threats and bullying are laughed at by Iran and neither iran nor Israel will commit to a deal re Lebanon., that can bridge their opposing demands.

Trump has no hand and as such thinks he can just say the US is out and Iran and the Strait are the world's problem now.

He will find out how much of a problem it is for the US though as iran continues to choke the strait and not just gasoline remains at record highs but all the other items like fertilizer, etc and their secondary effects (food, etc) kick in just in time for midterms
