The Final Bill: Trump Tax Reform

The attempted propaganda just isn't working.

New poll - 2/3 of Americans see the plan for what it is: a massive giveaway to the rich.

Thats actually why I wrote. In that poll around 50% said their taxes would increase next year when it would clearly decrease.

and when they file their taxes they will discover that lib'ruls have been lying to them all along......

Not at all, PMP. No one is saying that the middle classes won't get a temporary tax cut. But it's scraps compared to what the wealthy get over the course of time.

It's a classic scam; of course people are happy to get a paltry little kickback for awhile, but most seem to be smarter than that, & are wise to the bigger picture.

A) no it is disproportionately weighted towards the middle class.

B) Those tax cuts expire in 2025 only because that is the Senate Budget rule that is not the fault of Trump, the Republicans, or the bill.

C) The big picture is that tax cuts do not decrease tax revenue and they never have, the problem is spending needs to be cut as well or at least not increased exponentially as both parties are wont to do

Interesting how you have no problem with the wealthier being taxed at a higher percentage while the lower end folks pay scraps or nothing.

Well, the facts are that this bill is very geared toward the wealthy.

If you believe in trickle-down, I get supporting it. But I don't get believing in trickle-down after it has failed repeatedly.

Complete nonsense. The lower and middle income families are going to benefit from this and add to economic activity as a result. If you think doubling the standard deduction and expanding the lower income brackets isn't a big boon to the lower and middle income families, then you have once again fallen for the propaganda of CNN and their dem masters.

Enjoy your deficit funded tax cut for the super rich, stupid fucking repukes.

You bleeding heart lefties had no problem with you BOY Obama doubling the debt

When the fuck are the lower end folks going to start providing for themselves instead of demanding the middle class and wealthier people fund their handouts?

/YAWN......this may come as a surprise to lib'ruls but if a group pays 90% of the taxes they are obviously going to get 90% of the cuts......

Double standard liberal mindset. When you pay, you're going to pay a higher PERCENTAGE yet when there are cuts, you get the lowest percentage cut.

The tax cuts were greater than any revenue, a negative!

Cut spending you fucking idiot especially on things for which the Constitution doesn't give the federal government authority. Better yet, if you want someone that doesn't have (fill in the blank) to have it, fund it with your money and I'll use what I earned to buy for ME.

even if you get only 10% of the cut, if you pay 20 times as much you end up with twice the cuts.......

The next tactic the Democrats use to undermine the tax bill is the permanence of the tax cuts. They argue that the middle class tax cuts are not permanent but the ones for corporations are.

this is the best part, and the most hilarious. One of the democrats biggest complaints is the tax cuts aren't permanent. Of course they can always be extended like the bush tax cuts. I wonder what will stop these tax cuts from being extended? Oh yeah.. democrats. So democrats bitch whine and moan that they aren't permanent, when they will be the same very ones that will MAKE them not permanent. That makes a fuckload of sense.

Why wouldn't the lefties support those they expect to pay the highest percentage getting the greatest percentage cut? Wait, lefties don't believe in cuts unless it's the people already paying scraps or nothing at all.

Good to hear someone at least admit the basics of this measure.

And how is that going to benefit the country exactly? We just want to give the very wealthy a nice l'il windfall?

The greatest trick that the powers that be & their donors play is getting people who are going to end up paying for a huge windfall for the rich in the long run to actually argue FOR it...
