SALT exemption goes upto 10k. Mortgage up to ( I think) 2 million, plus property tax deduction.
child tax credit is expanded to $1,400

I think you are gonna be fine

That broad application by some of the founders is exactly what I'm talking about as going beyond what the intent of that clause was designed to do. They, like the left today, used that clause to allow the government to do things for which no delegated authority existed. If the founders thought Congress should have the authority to create a national bank why didn't they put it in as a delegated power when they wrote the Constitution. It wasn't as if they had no idea what a bank was.

As for not voting for McCain or Romney, that is easily explained and proves I am a more principled conservative than you are.

For better or worse I'm pretty much an open book. And as much as I like to read and enjoy good conversation an intellectual or pseudo intellectual I am not. I'm not smart enough.

But the core difference is I don't hold the racial animosity that you do. It's why you like Trump and Roy Moore so much. That's "conservatism" to you but not to me.
