Being President is more than just policy. Policy is important of course but it's also about being a leader.

Trump is doing long term damage to the Republican Party and brand and therefore I didn't vote for him. I don't reflexively dislike anything he does. I don't dislike tax cuts or deregulation because he does it. But he's not a conservative or a Republican.

And yeah, his racial crap does nothing to grow the party. I know it appeals to you, so be it. That isn't conservatism however.
