and yet at the national level, in special elections since 2016 Republicans have held their lead........we are going to add seats in the senate......you are not going to take the House......Trump will remain president.......Kavanaugh will be sworn in as a SC justice.......Ginsberg will have to cling to life for at least two more years, likely six......

Any thoughts on why a republican won in a Texas district Crooked Hillary won by 12 points?

I know it is only one data point and I am not going to generalize 365 elections from that one outcome.

But how could the democrat party lose that race?
