If they believe Trump is not guilty, why won't they testify. Wouldn't their testimony help prove Trump innocent?

ROFL.. have you heard the term separation of powers? The executive is a co-equal branch. Congress can't force it -
except they could try to thru the courts since it's impeachment lite; but Schiff won't do that
 
Lots of innocent people don't testify..Since Schiff is running a quasi-trial, and POTUS has no representation..do the math

If there was evidence a crime had been committed, shouldn't the Democrats have released it?

No one in America is required to prove they are innocent. The State must prove their guilt.

Schiff won't do that because of the time involved; Trump is just running out the clock to avoid having his lackeys testify against him. The law and ethics mean nothing to Trump..
