I disagree with the theory that it was the Squad that got Nancy into this mess. It was Adam Schiff who got her into this mess. It was another coordinated Deep State attack on Trump. Schiff probably all but guarenteed Nancy that he had him. They banked on Trump never releasing the transcripts because that is what other Presidents would have done. They were banking on being able to yell for the release of the transcripts and Trump saying "I can't for national security reasons" and then being able to selectively leak while they ramrod the impeachment.

But, Trump fucked them hard. The minute Pelosi said she would back impeachment, Trump released the transcripts. Once that happened, Nancy was fucked.. There was nothing she could do but to play the hand out. She pushed all in while she was holding off suit 2 and 7 while Trump was holding cowboys.

Yes, there is no love lost between Nancy Pelosi and Trump; Pelosi sincerely thinks that he is unfit to be President of the US. And yes, she would like to see him impeached, but she would also want the impeachment process to be legitimate and Constitutional, not the criminal farce and travesty that it was. I believe she was pressured into agreeing to start the impeachment process against Trump by the majority of House Democrats, individuals who are now on the extreme "progressive" left of the Party(and effectively socialists in the sense that "The Squad and Bernie sanders are socialists) and lots of assurances from low-life like Adam Schiff that they did indeed have all the hard, factual evidence they needed to make a solid case against Trump. Schiff and his colleagues lied, of course, and believed they could rig the impeachment inquiry against Trump using foul play (denying due process, holding secretive, behind-closed-doors meetings with witnesses in the basement of the building, doctoring evidence, relying on an overwhelmingly leftist media to spin the reporting of events to their advantage) and so on.
