I am MUCH less bothered by the prospect that China (or any of those other countries) fudged figures in order to make a leader or the country look better...

...than I am that OUR COUNTRY may end up doing that fudging because of the damage real statistics here might impact on The Dear Leader.

Not saying we are doing it...or that Trump is ordering it...

...but it would not astonish me if it were discovered that something like that IS HAPPENING.

1) It was severely overbought and ripe for some big event to send sellers selling
2) There is tremendous uncertainty about global growth and as we well know, well I do, maybe you don't, the market HATES uncertainty

The market is a different issue. trump only cares about stopping the bleeding, but his lies make it worse. I agree with your assessment of the market. I'm watching some of my investments sink lower, so I can buy more and ride them back up. I've been waiting for this to happen.


Now read the link I offered about why we are so unprepared for this crisis, and stop trying to shift the focus on funding. trump wiped out the programs that were put in place to avoid such catastrophes coming to our shores.

Not sure if you are kidding to see how I react...or if you have had a thirst for Kool-Aid today,

We'll see during the coming days and weeks if this administration is actually taking a mature and intelligent position with regard to how to deal with this problem...or if it is handling things in the pathetic way it brings to so many other problems.

My guess is that people will be fired for telling inconvenient truths (nothing new there) and whistle blowers will come forward to warn of shortcuts being taken that may make matters worse for our country...rather than better.

We'll see!

Trump was responding to a reporter’s question having to do with an asinine comment Pelosi made.

If Trump would use last night’s address as a template going into November he would win in a landslide—regardless of who democrats put up. The ALL CAPS on Twitter has to go. No more picking stupid fights and etc.

He drives people *who otherwise agree with his policies/results* away with that stuff.
