My guess is that people will be fired for telling inconvenient truths (nothing new there) and whistle blowers will come forward to warn of shortcuts being taken that may make matters worse for our country...rather than better.

Whistle blowers in government are absolutely necessary...especially in the kind of government being run by Trump right now. If they have anything that would benefit the country...they would do what the WPA and the WPEA require them to do.
They should not be fired...they should be protected from being fired...which is what those laws do.

The current numbers are 60 ish cases—all involving citizens affected by foreign infection.
But there is one person in CA with the first community acquired infection [if they can’t trace it they assume community acquired]. The latter instance is worrisome though it hardly means we’re on the verge of an epidemic.
The CDC estimates a less than 50/50 chance of that here. Which sounds reasonable given there’s a strong quarantine protocol in place. China was late to the party on that.
So, the Chinese virus is President Trump’s fault?
