Won't attack her, she seems like a quality person. But her view that women should be subject to state control over their bodies is wrong, in my opinion.

An unborn squirrel has its own DNA; it has no life separate from the woman; the soul has no proven existence and therefor provides no lawful basis for a claim of homicide and no sound rational basis for restricting the right of the woman. Agree it's murder, no. I agree it's a difficult call and side with the right of the woman to choose

A heart beat is not evidence of a soul. You're back to a squirrel comparison. If the "infant" was able to make the choice, as you suggest, it would be a different matter.

The soul can't be proved either way. The proof burden, as always, is on the affirmative. Anyway, this debate has nowhere to go. Religion rejects the precept of reason and that closes the only avenue there is for debating. The childish insult you ended with is proof enough of that.
