Democratic House legalizes Marijuana....

Lets not forget that mere months ago the democrat party voted down 2-1 to make marijuana legalization a part of their platform.

That said yes, republiicans suck on this issue. The war on drugs should be ended, all drugs should be decriminalized at minimum and multiple drugs should be full on legalized. LSD, Mushrooms, DMT, and many more.

Agreed. I'm against our tax dollars being spent telling others what to smoke or eat. Better to legalize it, tax it and use the revenue to pay for regulating it.

Been saying that for years, why should dirty Dagos get disgustingly rich on cocaine profits? Same with heroin, the Taliban would lose billions in profits if it were legalised.

Isn't that a bit extreme?

I've lost at least 4 friends to heroin.

Marijuana on the other hand isn't much better, or worse than alcohol & can be taxed.

Depends on the town.

In my current town Ive seen no fights at the bar.

Past town 1 guy started 8 fights with his friends mostly at the bar.
Besides many, many more I witnessed.

it;s because drug use is "shameful" hidden and extremely illegal.
There is no way for most people to talk about dosing and safety.

I've been around since the 60's -did my fair share -
but i also used a Physicians Desk Reference to understand tolerances and cross use

we we serious about getting high..lol

Look at alcohol, how many alcoholics follow the dosing recommendations?

Never did drugs beyond Marijuana.

Last time I smoked pot was like 10 years ago.

Last time I got drunk was 2 years ago.

The vast majority of people aren't going to go out and try heroin just because it is decriminalized. If addiction is treated like a mental health problem (which it is) these now non-criminals will have a better time getting help with less stigma attached. Portugal decriminalized all drugs and there nationwide addiction rates went down.

Furthermore you cut the legs off of the billion dollar black market which funds criminal gangs and thugs.
