Maybe I don't fully understand how the court works but I didn't think you just joined the court and decided on basically day one we're going to overturn roe vs wade and then its done. And when they were questioned did they state they were going to overturn it? I thought people were always pissed off that they wouldn't answer direct questions about how they would rule on cases.

??? I’m pretty sure that was the hand wringing from the left. There probably were plenty of conservatives that felt that way, but the smear campaigns against Kavanaugh and Barrett based on those lies were orchestrated by NYT, CNN, etc. Not exactly bastions of conservatism.

Originalism is one of those fun philosophies that gets ideologues from both sides worked up though.

What people hope for isn't the same as what those in power said while making the nomination. The response from the left to these nominees was all rights for women and minorities etc. would be lost and America will go back in time etc. etc. It's the same rhetoric for every judge. Yet here we are.

Liberals think that about every Republican nominee going back to Bork. But why do women and minorities still feel the Supreme Court is taking away their rights even though these justices aren't conservative?

This was a conservative opinion. It established no precedent about transgender rights that apply to any other court decisions and did not interfere with the decisions of schools on these issues.
 
I guess Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Coney-Barrett don't know which bathroom to use. A favorite Trumptard meme obliterated by their SCOTUS heroes.
