Saint Kyle!

Yeah, that’s going to be a waste of time, ask Zimmerman.

I dont think you understand how this all works. Even if he isnt successful in a single lawsuit this will have been a stunning success in a variety of ways,.....one of them being financial. ;) Actually winning one of the suits or being offered a settlement to settle would only be icing on the cake.

The dynamics of the case are very different from the Zimmerman matter.

Good. Let's drag all of this out and let the world see a 17 year old empty a magazine into crowd and walk away scot-free again. LOL

First, unless the insurance companies push for a settlement, and Kyle's friends funding this legal fight agree to it, I doubt Kyle will win anymore than Sarah Palin.

Second, it'll be fun to reveal who is behind the "Media Accountability Project". My guess is Alt-Right White Supremacist anti-American assholes. Not just like the losers on JPP, but ones with money and a couple of dirtbag lawyers. Kyle is the face, but the muscle and money are those in the "Media Accountability Project". They'll tell Kyle what to do.

Oops. Now you're on his list. :rofl2:

Kyle Rittenhouse is a moron who got away with murder. Murders he helped provoke. While the dead had their part in the provocation, Kyle should have borne his own responsibility. He hasn't. Sad.

The US legal system says otherwise. He was acquitted on all counts, and you are digging a deeper hole for yourself. :rofl2:

Not so much. Ask Nicholas Sandmann. :rofl2:

The insurance companies settled for an undisclosed amount. Do you really believe Nickie walked away with millions? Legal estimates put it closer to $50K. Let's not forget his lawyers get a big chunk too so the figure could have been $100K with Nickie getting half.

Here’s the analysis which is being cited favorably by Zaid, Moss, and others on legal Twitter. It ends (TL/DR) with a supposition — an opinion — that Sandmann may have ended up with a ballpark guess of about $50,000. That’s a far cry from his original asking price of $250 million.

When asked about the thread, Lin Wood, an attorney for Sandmann, told Law&Crime he made it his “practice not to respond to uninformed, errant nonsense.” He noted that the settlement was confidential and that he could not comment on it, but said “questions about confidentiality and the timing of the settlement will have to be directed to others.”

The Twitter thread in question posits that though a judge tossed most of Sandmann’s case, the few remaining claims that remained would not have survived discovery. But since the claims were allowed to remain alive, it would have cost $200,000 or so to defend them. That’s why an insurance carrier, in this supposed version of events, probably threw a lowball offer to prevent spending even more to get the entire case tossed. In other words, the settlement was a business decision that had nothing to do with the merits of Sandmann’s case.

So was OJ. Do you really believe OJ was innocent of two murders? Bill Clinton was impeached but not convicted. The US legal system acquitted both. Do you accept that too, Jim?

The oddity here is that Nickie Sandmann, Kyle Rittenhouse and Trayvon Martin were all 17 at the age they became famous. WTF?

According to the system, OJ was innocent. Neither one of us was on the jury.

That being said, the two cases, locations, facts leading to the deaths, and behavior of the defendants afterwards could not be more different. So your attempt at equivalence is laughable.

It won't happen. The NYT let the Palin defamation lawsuit go to trial because they knew that the 1st Amendment was on their side. She lost. Fat little murder boy will lose as well.

You seem to be unable to distinguish the Sandman case from the Rittenhouse case. In the first one, the kid didn't do anything actionable other than stand there smirking. The video and photos made him look like he was doing something he was not -- harassing the old native guy. That's why the media settled their cases with him. Sandman was an unknown private citizen until the photos/video was taken.

Rittenhouse, on the other hand, went to Kenosha, got an illegal-for-him-to-have weapon, and shot three people, killing two of them. The fact that it was self-defense per the jury isn't important. Whoopi, Uygar, me, and everyone else has the right under the 1st Amendment to give their opinion on both what he did and the jury's verdict. Rittenhouse went there hoping to kill. He killed. He went on trial. He lost his anonymity because of his own actions, not the actions of the media or others. He now has a high bar to jump in order to prove defamation. He will not be able to do that.

Just so we all understand the New Conservative Rules ...

Now if you say any Insulting about someone, you can Sue?

Really ... knowing what you know about The Orange Ass-Hole?
