Trump lambasts Pope Leo XIV

Pope Leo?

He should indeed stop getting involved in politics. Notice that he has never condemned Iran or Islam, even as they do this;

You won't condemn them either, because the enemy of America is your friend.
He is not involved in politics, his statements aren’t political

Many people refer to the Pope as the "Vicar of Christ," which means he acts as an earthly representative of Christ, but he is not called Christ Himself. This title emphasizes his role in leading the Catholic Church on Earth.
Well John Paul II for one . In his book titled Crossing The Threshold of Hope . I have two copies of it.

Trump delivered an extraordinary broadside against Pope Leo XIV on Sunday night, saying he didn't think the U.S.-born global leader of the Catholic Church is “doing a very good job” and that “he's a very liberal person," after suggesting that the pontiff should “stop catering to the Radical Left.”

Flying back to Washington from Florida, Trump used a lengthy social media post to sharply criticize Leo, then kept it up after deplaning, in comments on the tarmac to reporters.

Trump's comments came after Leo suggested over the weekend that a “delusion of omnipotence” is fueling the U.S.-Israel war in Iran. While it’s not unusual for popes and presidents to be at cross purposes, it’s exceedingly rare for the pope to directly criticize a U.S. leader — and Trump’s stinging response is equally unusual.

trump forgot that the Pope was born in America and is still a citizen. A citizen who is concerned about what this country has become under trump.

As expected, @FastLane Lane is lying as usual.

No, Pope John Paul II did not call himself Christ on earth. He emphasized the role of Christ as the true light and truth, but he did not claim to be Christ himself.

Pope John Paul II's Claims

Pope John Paul II did not refer to himself as Christ on earth. His teachings consistently emphasized the unique role of Christ as the true light and truth.

Key Points

  • Role of Christ: John Paul II highlighted that Christ is the "light of the world" and the "truth" that reveals God to humanity.
  • No Self-Identification: He never claimed to be Christ himself, maintaining a clear distinction between his role as Pope and the divine nature of Christ.

Context of His Teachings

  • Witness to the Light: In his messages, he often spoke of Christ as the "witness to the light," reinforcing the belief that only Christ embodies divine truth.
  • Emphasis on Faith: John Paul II encouraged believers to seek truth through Christ, stating that humanity's understanding of God is rooted in the person of Jesus.
In summary, Pope John Paul II upheld the significance of Christ without claiming any divine identity for himself.

Vicar of Christ, Christ’s rep on earth as the successor to St Peter
Well he says that also. But in his book his book titled Crossing The Threshold of Hope Paul II specifically refers to himself as "Christ on Earth" .. I have two copies of it.

Plus do you know what the word Vicar means and what the word anti means?

Vicar: one serving as a substitute

Stron's G473 Anti : for, instead of, in place of (something)

For starters, the Pope, nor Catholics, think he is God on earth, so I don’t know where you are going with that, in fact, the only person today portraying himself as God on earth is Trump, and please, spare us the “but he said …….” and “so the Pope is a liar”

“The term comes from the Latin word vicarius, meaning one who stands in place of another, like a steward, deputy, or chief of staff. The idea isn’t that the Pope replaces Jesus, but rather that he represents Him. The Pope is the one entrusted with shepherding the Church on Earth in the name of Christ.” (https://conclave.relevantradio.com/what-does-it-mean-that-the-pope-is-the-vicar-of-christ/)

As gallant and noble the Pope has been attacking Trump, all the Pope has done is feed this fat white racist with red meat for his base to feast on, Unfortunately this is not a smart move unless you're willing to get messy and dirty with the white bitch. Trump loves attacking high profile figures who are bound with limitation in their responses. A lot of high profiler's have gone after Trump and all you get from this coward is silence, he knows who to bully and who not to send for.

Christie I have TWO copies of the John Paul II book that make the specific claim that the Pope is called Christ on Earth. You can pick up a copy on Amazon if you don't believe me. I picked my copies up at a used book store for a buck each.

But Vicar means the substitute for. And Anti (Strong's G473) instead of or in place of. So Vicar of Christ literally means substitute for Christ.

Anti means substitute or in the place of. Antichrist literally means in the place of Christ. Vicar of Christ literally means in the place of Christ.

Maybe you should have a talk with these sisters
