And Trump will take them, AGAIN, while claiming success. But this time he knows he needs to keep Israel involved too and get terms Israel will agree to or Israel will blow up the deal again. And there may be no deal both Iran and Israel will agree to so Trump may be stuck with no cards between the two holding them all.

Trump was on Fox News yesterday acknowledging now, when asked that gas prices may stay this high thru the midterms. Unprompted he said 'this high or maybe a bit higher which is ok'.

I've seen his main finance guys (Bessent, Lutnick and Hassett) all on shows saying some version that America needs to prepare for and accept short term pain thru the end of 2026 as it is 2027 when all the massive gains will be realized from Trump choices.

So in other words just 'get us thru the midterms with a win by buying our lies'.

and recall Trump in the campaign for POTUS said America would have instant relief from inflation and great riches pretty much instantly after he was elected. And Magats bought that then and buy the continued timeline push back now as they clap like seals as they, in Red States, suffer the most from it. :rofl2:

IMO, Trump was looking for a scapegoat out of this mess rather than a solution since there isn't any good solution. Iran won't budge without reparations and Trump would look like a loser if he gave reparations for a war he started.
