What historians are those? She was a guide, not a tracker of footprints, and an interpreter

Hello Jack,
I didn't say that British companies had no hand in the transatlantic slave trade, lol! It was only in 1807 that that was outlawed by Act of Parliament, and afterwards vigorously suppressed by the Royal Navy.
Someone must have paid them big bucks to do that, what do you think?
Who said slavery was morally good? It wasn't, the Industrial revolution increased production leading to a decline in the need for slaves due to increased production & increased need for skilled labor.
wtf kind of childish response is this?
Not exactly.
OK, so the only differences between slavery and working for the minimum wage is $7 and 60 cents pay for an hour's work (WHICH DOES NOT EVEN PAY FOR ROOM OR BOARD)(and YES! YOU ARE FREE TO WALK AWAY), VS. working for no wages, and getting free room and board- and if you leave your post you get 30 lashes or were shot!
NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE BUT YES- NOT EXACTLY!
So you get a............................

Minimum wage is actually an anti slavery measure. Before minimum wage the poor were treated a lot worse.
No! False!
It was enacted in 1938 - 78 years after Slavery was Abolished!
Well I'll have to agree. However, why not relocate those statues to museums where they can be taught about properly? That's what museums are for.
So, how would it be taught ‘properly’ lol?
Lol, minimum wage is slavery but it came after.
So, which is it?
Why are most posters here so desperate & dumb?
Minimum wage ensured a wage beyond basic servitude.
The minimum wage only says- I WOULD PAY YOU LESS- IF I ONLY COULD!
Sure, exactly why Capitalists hire foreigners over Americans because they don't want to pay American workers.
OK! CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS?
How many people earn the federal minimum wage?
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) 1.6 million workers, or 1.9% of all hourly paid, non-self-employed workers, earned wages at or below the federal minimum wage in 2019. That year, 82.3 million people were paid hourly rates, making up 58.1% of all wage and salary workers in the United States.
SO AMERICAN CAPITALISTS LOVE THE MINIMUM WAGE! OR THEY WOULDN'T HAVE HIRED 1.6 million workers in 2019 to work for minimum wages.
And I made a mistake about the minimum wage being $7.60 as it actually is only $7.25 cents and has been that way since the last time it increased in 2009!
