So basically, there's no way to trust anything in the news, unless you agree with it.

If all of these reports said that most terrorism in America is left-wing, you'd agree. But because the facts say most terrorism in America is right-wing, you have to dismiss all of these sources.

It isnt important that we agree, chances are that we wont.
You take what you read at face value. I look for facts tucked into reporting and make my own assessment.
And so we are clear, ALL media are biased. But all media are forced to include some facts so you have to sift through lots.

No, you take what you read at face value if it confirms your bias.
I actually do look for facts and make my own assessment. And when the facts are overwhelmingly on the side of the Far Right being the biggest source of terrorism, I have no choice but to accept that. As the saying goes, facts don't care about your feelings.

Yes, all media is biased, but there are two things to keep in mind. First, there is a difference between Fake News, like Breitbart, extremely biased news, like Fox, and fairly accurate news that is still far from perfect, like CNN.
Secondly, when every source is reporting the same facts and from different studies, then changes are the results are true.

So I understand you can't admit you were wrong here, but I hope you'll at least take a look at the way you're deceiving yourself. And keep in mind that any kind of terrorism is dangerous, even if you think they're on your side. The growing threat of the Far Right is dangerous for you too.

It really depends on the timeframe you are looking at, and whether you are counting number of deaths or just number of incidents. If you count the number of dearhs, including 9/11, then there's no way that your statement is true. It also is very misleading as Muslim attacks are international in nature and affect almost the entire world.

Well we were just talking about terrorism in America. Sure, Muslim extremism is a bigger global threat, but if you live in America, chances are you won't be directly affected. In America, the biggest threat is right-wing extremism.
And 9/11 happened over a decade ago. In 2018, literally every death attributed to terrorism was a result of right-wing terrorism, which is growing.

There is no reason these so-called explicit threats couldn't be spelled out.
