Looks like we're seeing now why Putin wanted Trump in the WH so badly.....

I think we're seeing now why, or at least partially why, Putin wanted Trump in office so badly.

If Trump were in office right now, Putin could do whatever he wants to in Ukraine with little or no opposition form the US.

Trump would have looked the other way and the entire GOP would have backed him 100%.

Now, with Trump out of the picture, Putin has had to make the decision to do what he was always going to do anyway, but it's going to be more expensive and difficult for him with Biden opposing him.

Having Trump as his bitch puppet would have made all this so much easier for him.

God only knows what all other little plans Putin had cooked up which he wanted Trump in place to grease the skids for.

so that when Biden replaced him he could invade Ukraine?......

At a much greater cost, a much greater level of difficulty and a much greater level of opposition from the US and our allies.

Putin would have loved to have had it as easy as Trump would have made it for him.

An excellent point. As it is, Putin will have to be satisfied with the parts he holds now until Trump can steal back the election. :)

what "great cost" does Biden extract? sanctions??? LMAO :rofl2:

Biden sanctioned 2 Russian holding banks 1 had already been sanctioned.
Next is "personal sanctions" of oligarchs.. most are already in Swiss or Asian banks
Biden hasnt got anything but "sanctions. That's it..sanctions and weapons for Kyiv.

The Europeans are unenthusiastic in getting in between Ukraine and Russia.
Russia will have control of LDNR with minimal resistance while Ukraine moves in its army.
But Kyiv not going to get into a full scale war over Donbas
so...Putin gets his "buffer zone" - Biden gets high energy prices for the rest of us

Biden blowhard just throws out a bunch of noise about democracy, arms the shit out of Kyiv
and then wonders why Putin can carve off Donbass ??

If Biden was't a stuffed suit he would have had taken Putin seriously and seriously negotiated.
Putin outplayed him instead by declaring LDNR as countries. He gets an invite in instead of an invasion

Cold Warriors only react. They literally have no fucking clue of how modern hot wars can flash up

I hate to be praising Putin all the time; but Trump was correct in his podcast.
Recognizing independence of Luhansk People's Republic and Donetsk People's Republic was brilliant.
Literally putting new friendly pieces on the board!

What about the inevitable ethnic cleansing that has or will happen soon enough?

man I dont know the tribal thing over there, but are you saying the separatists and ..others.. are incapable of living in a Russian secured republic?
Because Putin isn't moving out anytime soon. He's expanded Russian "buffer" and keeps his military there

the only way it could be easier would be if we offered to reimburse him his costs......
