It isn't a guess. It's simple math. Cases go down when the number of people infected by each carrier drops below 1. That happens because of social distancing, contact tracing, and aggressive quarantine. Remove it, and that number is going to rise above 1. It isn't rocket science.

Yet, with all the social lock downs, we went from a hundred cases to over a million. :palm:

So wouldn't it make sense to get a handle on those numbers through mass testing before we open anything back up?

What would mass testing do? :palm:

Do we do mass testing of the common flu? Do we shut down our economy because of the flu? :palm:

We have a vaccine for the flu; does that prevent the tens of thousands of deaths from it every year?

Yes it would. And if this administration had not totally botched the response, we might have made progress towards that goal. But we haven't.

How did the Administration botch the response you lying asshat? Trump declared a National Health Alert on January 31st. At that time, we had about ONE case and ZERO deaths.

It was the W.H.O, and China who botched it you witless wonder. :palm:

Medicare for all means Medicare for illegals (non-citizens) who came here illegally and are living here illegally.

No, Medicare for all means Medicare for none.

If the economy can be brought to a grinding halt by a virus, and the only prescription is to reopen everything now without mass testing, then the fundamentals of the economy are not strong, never were, and the democratic socialists have been right this whole time.

What part of Government forced shut down are you struggling to comprehend you withering asshat? :palm:

Capitalism is a water wheel dependent on human activity to fuel its turn. With activity shut down, it slows and stalls. The Social Democracies of Europe have stuff in place to give the people the ability to fuel the nation when such things happen. We turned into a half-assed version of them with the stimulus to try and keep that wheel from stalling and probably spent more than if we just had something in place from the getgo.

The Governments of Europe are struggling under a massive pile of Government debt they cannot pay down thanks to their social weflarism. :palm:

Those were totalitarian dictatorships, not social democracies.

The German, Danish, Norwegian, Swiss, Canadian, and South Korean economies are just fine.

This is a lie. They are anything BUT fine now.

OK, so then if we want to emulate those countries by adopting their social policies like single payer health care, what is the big deal?

The big deal is that we don't want to emulate them; they should be emulating our system which is superior. If you love it so much; move the fuck to one of them and STFU about it. #dumbass

How so? All M4A does is have the government reimburse your provider instead of an insurance company.

Medicare for All means Government is making the decisions instead of private insurance. How does Government manage costs? By limiting specialization, innovation and forcing their citizens into long waiting lines for even the most basic care.

Only a low IQ mental midget like you thinks Government is great. :palm:

It's a part of the process you aren't involved with at all, that happens after you get your health care.

Here's what YOUR process looks like:

A majority of doctors support Medicare for All.

LIE

And lower payments in the context of the chargemaster, which has artificially high costs that the insurer and your provider work out ahead of time so both can benefit financially.

LIE

No, you wouldn't need a referral for a specialist because in M4A, there are no more provider networks and you have the choice to see any provider you want. You don't have that choice now; your choice is limited to providers in your network. And you can't just go see a specialist without a referral right now.

M4A will destroy the specialist networks which is why in Canada and Europe you might wait over a year just to see a gynecologist or get a hip replacement.
