Dude, we are grown-ups. We give a reaction when someone says something that induces that feeling towards them. We aren't doing it just because of who they are.

That's true. It was a few years back; I had to repeat the request when we got this new interface because the FI fell off in the transfer. I hear that to this day, though, Goatyurt is *still* whining and carping about the FI. What an odd hobby. lol

Translation: Fowl cries and bitches to Damo about anyone that she deems problematic. The ones she fears and embarrasses her so easily. When talking about the 'one' that she really hates, you can tell the thing she absolutely hates more than anything is the fact that people actually like her here and respect her. Well. The ones where I specifically tell you an action that I may or may not take would be a good place to start. The rest are all just ways to get more information.

If you follow that rule you will find:

1. That I am going to create a modification that will allow people to ignore reaction notifications from specific users.
2. That I was curious.
3. That I haven't made any decision regarding the points system, but started the thread due to curiosity.
4. Well... You can follow the pattern yourself.

Posts where I ask a question or give a "well it would make this happen" but do not say any action that I may or may not take should be taken as posts where I am not telling you any action I may or may not take. I think even you, with your crippled sarcasm sensor you obtained the day you became a confirmed leftist, can figure that one out.

Give me some evidence of this "fear"... So far absolutely nobody has complained to me about anything other than the notification issue, which will be resolved by the modification, and those were from long ago. I promised this modification months ago but wanted to make sure the migration completed and was solid before I started on it.

My curiosity though. This thread has been educational. Very much so. The people watching is EPIC...

Not a rule, a tool. One way was because of a vote among the mods.

And I simply fixed the ignore feature so it actually works correctly instead of having a "view post" link that allowed people to respond to folks they were ignoring. None of that was someone else whining to me. Nobody "violated" forced ignore. You simply were clicking the "view post" link and the software let you respond making it useless to its purpose. I fixed that.
