Russian Vodka

I heard that the Governor of my state has ordered all Russia liquors off the shelves in the state liquor stores, which makes me very happy.

Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister has called on Apple to stop selling its products and to shut down its App Store in Russia.

“In addition to official government sanctions, bars and liquor stores across the U.S. and Canada are attempting to economically hurt Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine by refusing to sell Russian vodka and other Russian liquor.”

that Ukrainian woman has more balls than the entire MAGA nation now THAT'S what patriotism really looks like assholes

She has more than Y O U, that's for sure.

Why aren't you in Ukraine fighting Putin?

Rhetorical question.

You think boycotting vodka will make him stop.

Meanwhile...

Does anyone believe that bungling Biden's "sanctions" are anything but virtue-signaling?

Russia spends just .7 percent of its GDP on American imports and receives the rough equivalent of 1.5 percent of its GDP from the sales of its exports to the U.S.

And that's supposed to scare anyone?

Are you smarter than bungling Biden? Apparently not.

Preemptively letting an aggressor know that you aren't willing to fight for the object of their aggression is craven capitulation by proxy.

It's betrayal of the worst sort.

Now the people of Ukraine are paying the price.

For the stupid (I'm talking to Y O U, lefties):

  • I am not "siding with Putin against America". We don't have a dog in this fight.
  • I am not "praising Putin". He is what he is. And what he is right now is winning.
  • I am not "attacking Biden". I am saying that he was flat wrong to say the things he's said that made a touchy situation worse, not better. In fact, I doubt he even knows what's going on, really. He's doing what the Obama retreads that run his regime tell him to do, and mouthing the statements they prepare for him to recite.
  • I don't want America to attack Russia. I want America to stand ready to repair the damage bungling Biden has done with his ill-advised idiocy by rendering humanitarian aid to those injured by the imbecilic policy positions his regime has pushed.

Grey Goose if you have the money. There are a lot of new small distilleries across the U.S that are making some nice products.

When I'm on a budget, I do like Stolichnaya. Smirnoff 100 proof isn't bad.

I prefer Van Gogh Vodka, their melon vodka was my favorite. Absolut is good too. In fact, their peach vodka was the first drink I ever had.

Anything on the shelves has already been paid for. Future imports are already affected via the sanctions I'm sure.

I was thinking the same thing. Pouring it down the drain would be a grand gesture but rather meaningless, like the moron who set their Nike stuff on fire.
