These victims are calling for sanity.

I appreciate your effort to clarify.
If I may offer the following:

"Terror" is a noun meaning intense if not overpowering fear.

"Terrorism" also a noun, means unlawful use or threat to use violence.

While these words were not originally interchangeable, common frequent misuse has rendered them so.

You said one thing correctly.....the criminally insane should never be armed. Just how did the existing laws already on the books stop this crazy person......he did everything except run naked through city hall in this county? Where were these laws? Just keep standing on the bodies of the dead for political gain....THE PEOPLE are watching. Idea? You "could" get Bernie and his armed guards to rotate through the country protecting our children WITH HIS GUNS. But....look on the bright side......all these protest signs will be good shields to hide behind the next time a criminal decides to break YOUR FASCIST LAWS.....like they did in the state of Maryland....with all its GUN CONTROL.
