Warriors Star Steph Curry Agrees with LeBron James—NBA Series Winner Won't Visit Trump White House:thumbsup:

Sports teams are increasingly putting distance between themselves and the president.

Stephen Curry discussed the Philadelphia Eagles disinvitation from the White House during a press conference and voiced support for LeBron James' position that the NBA series winners are uninterested in visiting President Donald Trump at the White House.

Wow, you sound extremely offended that Mr. Trump canceled the event after learning that most of the players, in a political show of leftwing hate and bullying, decided not to attend.

If the team is not going to show up, why bother.

That was why I said he should have held it and welcomed those who attended. You know, the grown up thing to do.
Upset about it? No, just dissapointed that I have to ask myself if Hillary would have been better than this stupid shit

Trump's handling of the NFL/Eagles/protests is easily the most blatant political con I have ever seen - a very clear example of insincere, phony manipulation. A political stunt that he doesn't believe in for a second.

And yet it works.

He did welcome the fans. The NFL owners and the players still want to shit on America and the Military. Hiding in the locker room is still a "hate America" symbol.

Hillary? ... well, I didn't hire the president to bend over for spoiled millionaire players and their 'fuck America' billionaire owners.

The one thing that unites us all, is that we're all Americans. Standing for the anthem is a symbol of our unity as Americans.

The bolded is your own view. What if I think supporting the FBI is a symbol of our unity? Or supporting dissent? Or not using the flag and a phony anthem issue to try to divide Americans?

This isn't anything new. I remember when the victorious American Ryder Cup team of 1993 was invited by B.J. Clinton to the White House and none went .

Clinton was known as a notorious cheat at golf (gee, who woulda guessed).
 
The whole "no one wants an invite" is stupid. Yes you want an invite because it means you won. Not wanting to attend is something different but no invite means you were the losing team. LeBron's a smart man, he knows they can't beat this Warriors team.
