Warriors Star Steph Curry Agrees with LeBron James—NBA Series Winner Won't Visit Trump White House:thumbsup:

Sports teams are increasingly putting distance between themselves and the president.

Stephen Curry discussed the Philadelphia Eagles disinvitation from the White House during a press conference and voiced support for LeBron James' position that the NBA series winners are uninterested in visiting President Donald Trump at the White House.

"I agree with Bron," Curry [3]. "Pretty sure the way we handled things last year, we'd stay consistent with that."

Easy for LezBron to say. He knows his team won't be winning a championship this year.
PS. Shut up and dribble.

That was why I said he should have held it and welcomed those who attended. You know, the grown up thing to do.
Upset about it? No, just dissapointed that I have to ask myself if Hillary would have been better than this stupid shit

If the criteria is any employment related or economic indicator, Hillary would have been far worse. If getting rich athletes or other celebrities to visit the White House was your primary concern, then Hillary all the way.

lol

I see Azinger wouldn't go because he didn't want to shake hands with a draft dodger. Guess he would skip a visit with Trump, too.

Probly. Folks come up with all kinds of stupid excuses. Where'd you see that, BTW?
Had I been a golfer on the winning team back then I'da just said I don't like or respect the pres. so I don't wanna be around him for his photo op . That's the honest answer.

Google it

The bolded is your own view. What if I think supporting the FBI is a symbol of our unity? Or supporting dissent? Or not using the flag and a phony anthem issue to try to divide Americans?

By phony, do you mean, not actually taking place?

I wouldn't have cancelled the visit. I would welcome those who would want to attend and allow those who don't make asses of themselves. Professional football and basketball seem to have become a political platform anyway. Neither seem to be a "team sport" anymore. Screw the idiots who prefer to make it political.

works for me......there should be distance between themselves and everything.......I would say this would cause me to stop watching pro basketball but I haven't watched a pro game since some time in the 90s.......

You know there are children growing up right now and this clown is their example of leadership. You think that's a good thing? It's more than just economics.

[h=1]Trump told Jerry Jones crapping on African American football players was working for him.[/h]Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that President Trump told him that criticism of NFL players who protest during the national anthem is "a very winning, strong issue for me," according to a report by The Wall Street Journal that was published Wednesday morning.

"Tell everybody, you can't win this one," Trump told Jones, according to the report. "This one lifts me."

Jones recalled Trump's comments in a sworn deposition that was taken as part of Colin Kaepernick's grievance against NFL owners and obtained by The Wall Street Journal.

Need any more proof? ;)

Lebron, Steph, and all of these other whiny crybabies that think they are making a point, are certainly securing themselves in the anals of liberal triggered infamy. Nothing more.

When a liberal doesn't get their way they try and find a way to get someone to pay attention to them. But instead of presenting ideas, or counter-argument to discussion, they whine.

The definition of a liberal is very closely related to that of a clown. Entertain your circus, preach to the choir that sits in the same disgruntled misery you do and you only get more miserable.

Looks like you're a little behind in the News, Donald Trump is the one Bitching like a whiny crybaby

Maybe you should throw him a Party ... he needs some friends to come by his house.

Good start. Separate pro sports from politics . Stop the anthem and end the presidential meetings. They are just businesses to make money. Teams can end this game that Trump is playing at their expense. They should do it quickly. Then the fans will soon forget the connection existed.
