Lebron, Steph, and all of these other whiny crybabies that think they are making a point, are certainly securing themselves in the anals of liberal triggered infamy. Nothing more.

When a liberal doesn't get their way they try and find a way to get someone to pay attention to them. But instead of presenting ideas, or counter-argument to discussion, they whine.

The definition of a liberal is very closely related to that of a clown. Entertain your circus, preach to the choir that sits in the same disgruntled misery you do and you only get more miserable.

I know you are smart enough to know the anthem boycott isn't about the anthem itself, it's about police violence. Why conflate the purpose? It's a strawman. They value the anthem so much and find it important enough to affect change. If they thought poorly of it , would it make sense for them to expect to be effective?

Arguments that have really perturbed me since the start of this fabricated crisis:
1) The players should find more constructive things to do, like work in their own communities (which most do)
2) The anthem is what "brings us together as Americans," and should be off-limits as a result (ignoring the spirit of the 1st amendment)
3) Players are insincere because they're millionaires and should be thankful for that & be quiet (implying that the poor only benefit when other poor people with no platform speak up for them).

In short, everything about this "crisis" bothers me. It's like some staged big con, with everyone insisting the emperor is really wearing clothes.

I've said it since just after trump was elected. Kap really dropped the ball on his own 'cause'. He could have made the most noise by using his celebrity for a 'get out the vote' campaign. He should have been pushing the message that the only way to make change to local police depts, is to vote locally and put new people in charge of the mayor's office.

But no. He didn't even bother to vote, because 'it doesn't matter'.

We have another opportunity in November. NFL will be in full swing. Let's hope there's a little more focus.
