Why $3 gas won't come back anytime soon, even with a ceasefire in Iran

And now Trump's oil mess is going to effect American farmers and consumers big time.
Not only id the price of gas and fuel they need to run their farms is going up and up but the price of fertilizer is going up too.
And a lot of farmers in red states are being hurt and don't like it.
Again all this will drive up the cost of goods we buy hurting all of us and driving the US into a recession.

He needs to go, and whoever replaces him needs to remember that launching cowardly sneak attacks has dire consequences.

So are all Iranians responsible for the arrests, abuse, and execution of all those protesters recently? Are all Iranians responsible for the deaths of those killed by the terrorists that the Iranian govt. provided with weapons? Shall we hold all Iranians responsible for the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7?

Your logic is missing and has been replaced by emotional partisan rhetoric. Do better.
That is Legion you are talking to.

So are all Iranians responsible for the arrests, abuse, and execution of all those protesters recently?

Criminals are dealt with here. I am proud to share responsibility for upholding the laws of my nation.

Are all Iranians responsible for the deaths of those killed by the terrorists that the Iranian govt. provided with weapons?

One man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. I am humbled by the acknowledgment of my prt, small though it was, in helping oppressed people resist tyranny and genocide.

Shall we hold all Iranians responsible for the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7?

You may. It was less that the Israeli pigs deserved, but thank you for the accolade.

Your logic is missing and has been replaced by emotional partisan rhetoric.

Nonsense.

Do better.

I always strive to improve.

In 2022, I was told that it was "Putin's fault" and NOT the Autopen's fault (even though gas prices had already been rising for a whole year PRIOR TO the Ukraine invasion)...

So, in 2026, wouldn't it be the Ayatollah's fault? Why are you blaming Trump? "Presidents can't control gas prices", remember?
Why? Because inflation is up over Biden's last year alone and going on up.

WTI was at $60 in January, Son.
That it was. So?
This is not the victory you seem to think it is.
It's "a victory" that WTI has been mostly staying steady below $100 (instead of running away over $100). It's "a victory" that wholesale gasoline has been staying steady around $3.00-3.10/gallon (instead of running away to over $4.00/gallon like it did in 2022).

Right now, gas prices have essentially been what they AVERAGED during the first three years of the Autopen's term. 1.5 months is much less than 3 years.

The military operation will be winding down soon, and soon after that, gas prices will start coming down. It still amazes me how libtards didn't freak out about gas prices at all from early 2021 - early 2024, yet they immediately freaked out about gas prices once March 2026 rolled around. VERY stupid people......

The inflation statistic has only recently ticked up somewhat due to gas prices. Core inflation has remained steady (very low). There is no inflation problem. That was during the Autopen's term when this statistic was almost 3x what it is now.

In 2022, I was told that "Presidents can't control gas prices" whenever people were blaming the Autopen for high gas prices.

How can the recent increase in gas prices be "Trump's fault" when I was told back in 2022 that "Presidents can't control gas prices"?

How much will it cost you to drive your precious gas guzzlers when US oil is subject to a bidding war?

U.S. Blockade Could Trigger Total Maritime Shutdown

Yes. I say 'costed' in my day to day speech even though 'cost' is the grammatically correct word. It's habit at this point.

I see. Does that redound to your credibility, in your opinion?

If gas prices reach $6 per gallon, then I'll let you know.

Please, do.

I see no reason to believe gas will reach $6 per gallon.

Don't you? Some West Coast markets have already reached or exceeded that level.

Diesel is already nearing $6.00 per gallon in several regions, as well. That does not bode well for America's road transport industry, does it?

Is my casual dialect relevant, in your opinion?
Please, do.
You'll be waiting a LONG time.

Some West Coast markets tax and regulate the ever loving PISS out of their gasoline (which pushes their retail prices much higher than everyone else). So?
Diesel is already nearing $6.00 per gallon in several regions, as well.
Diesel is currently $6.00+ per gallon in the following regions, per AAA:

California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania
That does not bode well for America's road transport industry, does it?
Seven regions are not "America".

Is my casual dialect relevant, in your opinion?

Yes. Although English is not my native (or indeed my first foreign) language, I find such a casual disregard for its disciplines indicative. I don't believe I am alone in this.

For example, I am told that many Americans form a negative opinion of other Americans who mispronounce "ask".

You'll be waiting a LONG time.

I am content to wait and see. What news masterstroke do you suppose would enable your Commander-in-Chief to claim victory (again)?

Some West Coast markets tax and regulate the ever loving PISS out of their gasoline (which pushes their retail prices much higher than everyone else). So?

So, prices are already above the six dollar per gallon threshold in parts of America.

Diesel is currently $6.00+ per gallon in the following regions, per AAA:

California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania

Seven regions are not "America".

All seven are in America, unless they have seceded.

It could have just stayed where it was if tRump woulda kept it in his pants instead.

Iran war full economic impact nearing, Qatar finance minister says

The global economy is about to feel the full economic impact of the Iran war, Qatar’s finance minister said on Wednesday.

“A full-fledged impact is coming and it is not far away,” Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari said at an IMF discussion in Washington, describing the recent spike in global prices as just the “tip of the iceberg.”

“I think in one month, two months’ time you are going to see really a huge economic impact globally,” he said.

“Very soon you are going to have a problem of energy availability, not just prices.”
