I do know history, Darth.

Hitler...the guy Trump most resembles...accumulated the power that led to many people being "come after"...the same way the abomination is doing.

And his supporters, like you, are doing what the Germans who supported Hitler were doing...hiding their heads in the sand.

If there is anyone left who can get through to him, they're telling him that he cannot pardon Manafort/Stone until after the election. The only reason he'll listen, is because nothing is as important to him than re election.

Hitler did accumulate power—but Germany didn’t have strong institutions which would prevent it.

Hitler was a charismatic speaker as was Obama, and Reagan and as is Trump. They probably all like peanut butter n jelly sandwiches lol.

But who on the current scene is handing out draconian sentences to political defendants? Which side is suspected of using the intelligence apparatus to spy on political campaigns? Which side demands conformity of thought and uses ‘cancel culture’ to enforce their dogma?

I can tell you which side does none of the above.

All of our institutions are intact.

Your party is, for the most part, out of power.

The right was out of power during Obama’s terms. Now, it’s the pendulum swingIng back to the right.

We suffered as you are now.

This Republic is too strong to become a dictatorship. I don‘t want a dictatorship, I don’t know anyone who does.

If I’m ‘blind’ I’m blind to what, exactly? For a Hitler to take over we/they would have to get rid of Congress, the constitution and etc. Hell, Trump can’t scratch his nose without being threatened with impeachment by Democrats in the House lol.

Hitler would have a hard go of it. How would he pull it off? Be specific.

My FB is lit up with the Trump/Hitler comparison on most days. Most days I ignore it.

The irony is if there’s a ‘dictator’ it’s the administrative state—and Frank and his buddies cheer them on.

They are the ones who want to make Stone a *political prisoner*. Barr is simply saying ‘now, just hold on a minute’ and Trump’s ‘sin’ is in giving Barr kudos for his oversight.

Stone should get probation or a 1-3 tops. And everyone knows this. He’s a non-violent first offender. Ten years is way over the top. Particularly, for a man of his age.
