the double standard is amazing. Obama did far less to recieve his nobel peace prize. I think at this point we can safely say it was an affirmative action decision :(

It's a simple move by Kim to publicize US intransigence to the South Koreans.

Normally I would say, as I did in the past, Diplomacy is the way to go. But here's whats different; just a few months ago, these two Children were calling each other silly per-school names. If this so called talk keeps these little boys from playing with their toys, then I'm all for pacifying them until a real Adult can take over.

Think of it this way, All NK ever wanted was to be on the Main Stage with a Super Power ... Trump just gave it to them, for Free.

Let's see what happens in June, then we can sit back and know the truth about May.

It's a different direction, but too early to evaluate, there was a reason prior Presidents didn't sit down with the North Korean leader, and they all were invited by North Korea. By doing such, it grants bubble boy legitimacy, a player on the same level as the US

Agreeing to meet isn't as huge a move as some will portray it as, creditable, but not a game changer, jury is still out

Two mercurial and nutty leaders at a table talking deals. What could go wrong? Will Trump go to North Korea to talk? He already gave them esteem they have begged for for 50 years. Maybe both sides will denuclearize. They are equals now. That would make the world a lot safer.
 
Odds are the President will ask for proof of Denuking as a prerequisite for a meeting , ... and the meeting will never happen.

Kimmy fears being prosecuted for his human rights violations, so he won't let international inspectors into NK.
