why not blame her and her "activist athlete" T-shirt disrespect parade?
If you want accountability then you have to hold people accountable for their actions

And if you want less politicization ( a tall order but agree) then you have to call out politicization where it happens

She's acting in her best interests. It's up to the sports associations themselves to establish rules of conduct and enforce those rules.

If she wasnt a complete hypocrite she would refuse to even be on a systemic racist team.

The OP is my disagreement with her actions. She's politicizing sports.

What you want to do is attack Gwen then declare victory upon her defeat. What I want to do is push for rules of conduct disallowing political protests on the field.

I sure as hell want to attack her antics - i dont GAF about her otherwise.

there are rules, but "displays" discipline are done by the country -
more the reason not to just let her slide without personal accountability.

Go for it. I disagree with the tactic. Since she's unlikely to change, better to support the sports leadership to forbid such conduct.

I see your point, but I dont think they are gonna do anything - why would the Olympic committee want to get involved when they can pas the buck back to the athlete's country?


But she is right there - in your face, and that deserves condemnation - at least I would and do.
 
There must be some reason I can dig up to hate an athlete who is disrespectful to the country or flag. But since, I have not lived their life, I do not know what they went through, I just ignore it.
