Lewis and Clark statue removed following emergency meeting

Because the project is removing our history from us as the Revolution works to make us more docile and malleable. We cant be having people remembering "Give me freedom, or give be death!".
yep. if the Marxists want to remake the country's culture , they have to destroy the exiting culture.
Dumb white libs go along for the ride, and race hustlers get the blacks upset about ...whatever the emotion

why? as a proud lefty you should know what are the sins of these explorers

I don't think Clark had much of a sin in the way of slavery but he did deny York's request to be free so many times that he finally gave in.

Lol, slavery is still fairly prevalent in parts of Africa, but rather than combating that, Leftist extremists attack historical statues.
Take that statue.
crickets about actual slave trades still in existence.

It is in some ways like insisting that gender has nothing to do with biology and the claim that the Christian religion is evil....the Utopia Builders need to cut all ties with reality as they spin their fantasies of UTOPIA. If they dont everyone will understand that we are being sold Bull Shit.

This is also why for decades they have been trying to convince us that we cant trust our common sense, or what we see with our own eyes.

Conservatives have not understood how diabolical this Evil is.

ah that's it . slaves..so the entire expedition was "racist"

Actually no. It was the best thing ever to happen to York.

After experiencing an unprecedented amount of freedom on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, York had trouble adjusting back to the life of a slave. After requesting William Clark for his freedom upon the completion of the expedition, William Clark declined multiple times which led him to become agitated with York and eventually hired him out for work in Louisville, Kentucky. According to Washington Irving, William Clark told Irving he had freed York and given him six horses and a large wagon to start a drayage business driving between Nashville and Richmond.

That's why we have the international human rights.

Absurdity. Cancel culture should be canceled.

OH MY GOD! PLEASE SAVE THE CONTORTIONISTS!

Well I'll have to agree. However, why not relocate those statues to museums where they can be taught about properly? That's what museums are for.

I've suggested that before and got screeched at. The weird part is, Charlottesville isn't even in the South. It's almost to DC, so Southerners protecting heritage doesn't work there. Send it to a museum in the South.
