Russian Vodka

I can't help but feel for the people of Russia - but this kind of thing, sanctions & other measures that hurt & isolate Russia are important to pursue right now.

He is already in over his head. I don't think he anticipated how strong the reaction would be, or how much resistance he would get. He is going to do a lot of damage to the country he's supposed to be leading, but hopefully it will lead to a better future for the people there eventually.

“In addition to official government sanctions, bars and liquor stores across the U.S. and Canada are attempting to economically hurt Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine by refusing to sell Russian vodka and other Russian liquor.”

Buy good old Texas vodka. Tito’s or Lone Star

I'm not much of a drinker, but I am going to boycott my favorite, Russian Standard, and stick to my runner-up, Gray Goose, a French vodka.

.I hear Tito's is top of the line!

I bet Putin is shitting his pants now, sex pest.

Is this like "freedom fries"?

I feel very deeply for the Russian people. I hated it every time my country invaded a foreign country over oil or other ridiculous reason.

Were you asleep when you dreamt all of that?

The Russian people won't gain the respect of the world, generally speaking, until they rid themselves of Putin.

according to their own polling 70% of all Russians support Putin (not sure how accurate that number is but I'm sure it's over 50%)

if they were to rise up like the Ukrainians are doing right now they would be the most admired people on the planet.......but can't say as I blame them for not wishing a lifetime of horror upon themselves, spend their last days in a Russian hellhole up north somewhere

I wish they would block Russia's access to SWIFT. That would hurt those oligarchs and Putin more than not drinking their vodka.
