Wine. Mixed drinks. Both are hangovers waiting to happen.

That's why on the rare occasions that I do drink, it's clear liquor. High end vodka for the most part. I got sick once or twice in my youth. Once when someone was messing with my drink when I wasn't paying attention.

Whereas I don't opt for alcohol on a regular basis...getting sick twice was enough for me to see the light!

My problem is that once I start, I don't stop. Drinking is fun, and I only do it with company. I don't do it when I have to drive. I wake up drunk the next morning at times, but never with a hangover.

Clear liquor will do that.

But I used to get 2 every couple weeks. I reckon I did a favor for the dude and that's how he chose to repay me.

Every two weeks 2 gallons of Old Cuban man Strawberry wine. Like clockwork.

It was good, but I gave it to the wimmens. Wine is too acidy for me.

Ol' boys wine was good, not dry and sweet and very fruity, but can't do citric acid like that.

It'd be nice if you could buy something like that in the store but you can't.

He knew what he was doing and was damn sure making more than what he gave me.

Wish I knew how.

Agreed on clear versus liquor with impurities. Also on avoiding hangovers.


The Russian economy is crashing so maybe Stoly will become cheap again. LOL

The vids of people pouring out Russian vodka are actually very meaningful. They send a very powerful message. A willingness to throw away what was already paid for, because of what it stands for. The symbolism of it becomes worth more than the product.
