Russian Vodka

“In addition to official government sanctions, bars and liquor stores across the U.S. and Canada are attempting to economically hurt Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine by refusing to sell Russian vodka and other Russian liquor.”

Buy good old Texas vodka. Tito’s or Lone Star
I'm willing to bet that most people don't even realize that they're dumping/boycotting products that are NOT affiliated with Russia

I have the answer to your problems with alcohol!

Smoke you a doob or take a mild edible when you need to take the edge off or kick back and leave the drinking alcohol to those who can handle their liquor!

I mean, some people can have a drink or two, still be able to drive home safely and legally, and that is all they need.

Just tryin' to help friend!
First...Mom was Irish. All of my uncles were NYC detectives. (talk about stereotypes). I definitely have the gene. I was inspired to weigh in when someone spoke of getting sick because they drank almost a whole bottle of vodka.

Somewhere here I noted that although alcohol in NOT my first drug of choice, I'm pretty fucking good at drinking. I have brought my vodka of choice to parties and consumed most of the bottle myself. I am able to drive after drinking quite a bit, but I opt not to for obvious reasons.

That said, high grade weed is my 'go to' option. Even that is only for night when all of my work is done. I don't sleep well, and I refuse to use pharma products.

Don't like edibles. Not even a little

You just reminded me I had a bottle of this tucked away.

I live in a state where weed is still illegal, but I don't like the edibles I have bought in the Legal states where it is available.

SO, I just make my own cannabis butter or oil.

I limit my alcohol consumption to Home Brews and Blended Scotches! OK, if someone makes them, I'll drink Frozen Margaritas and Blackberry (whatever) Daquiris!

A couple of drinks are usually my limit! Brain freeze yanno! Especially if I'm out on the motorcycle!

Hey shit stain how many countries did Putin invade when "orange man" was in the WH?

Yeah - he must have been too terrified of the guy who called him a "genius" and says "he likes me!"

Not a good talking point. If he was waiting for Trump to leave, he would have invaded last year.

LOL. Is that a concern? Since Bush Sr. was done as POTUS, there has been no shortage of quality weed in this country. That's why I laugh about 'legal' weed. It's more expensive than street weed.

Weed has essentially been decriminalized for a decade in most states. I've never worried about legal ramifications, but I'm not stupid enough to take unnecessary chances.

IT WAS OBAMA WHO CHIDED ROMNEY FOR CALLAING RUSSIA A THREAT; OBAMA WHO HANDED PUTIN YELLOWCAKE URIANIUM, THEN ALLOWED THEM TOO ILLEGALLY EXPORT IT,WHILE HIDING IT FROM CONGRESS; IT PRES.MORON WHO STOPPED THE SANCTIONS AGAINST THE NORDSTREAM 2, WHILE REINSTITUTING ONEROUS REGULATIONS ON US ENERGY PRODUCTION, WHCH TOOK US FROM ENERGY INDEPENDENT TO BEING FORCED TO ENRICH RUSSIA, BY BUYING THEIR OIL.

IT WAS TRUMP WHO BLOCKED THE NORDSTREAM, AND KILLED HUNDREDS OF RUSSIANS IN THE SAME SYRIA OBAMA BACKED AWAY FROM HIS OWN "RED LINE IN THE SAND".

GET A FUCKING CLUE; IGNORANT OF THE FACTS IS NO WAY TO GO THROUGH LIFE.

Oh....you're just spamming?

Hello Althea,

Nazis burned sneakers because Nike had the audacity to put a black rabble rouser as the face of their product.

Symbolically rejecting all things Russia isn't much different.

The majority of Russians denounce this heinous act by Putin

But if they do it publicly they face being whisked away by Putin's goons.

Hello ThatOwlWoman,

And all we needed was a common, outside enemy! Do you think #TRE45ON will ever join us, or will he continue his bromance with Vlad the Insane?

Trump will do the same thing he has always done. If something is popular, he will try to attach himself to it, make it about him. Notice how he has praised both Putin and Zelenskyy, trying to cover all his options...

He really is an open book. And it's a pretty simple book. A 3 year old could read it.

Even with all the Sharpie marks all over it. lol

He waited until Biden exposed how weak he is. That's the reality of the current situation.

Remember what happened the last time America had a president this weak, there were gas shortages and oil prices soared?

I do! :D

It's hilarious how you Putin fanboys keep calling Biden "weak," yet the entire civilized world has gathered together with us to sanction Russia and back Ukraine with weapons. Biden knows how to build bridges. That defeated would-be king guy? Not at all.

I bring Smirnoff to parties. It's inexpensive. My Ukrainian friends love it. When I'm on a budget I buy Stolichnaya, but I don't drink often. When it's on sale, I prefer Grey Goose.

There are a few small distilleries making some good products. I do buy locally, but a lot of it isn't as smooth as GG.

Grey Goose is super smooth. Top of the line stuff.

If you want to support a NATO ally, Poland's Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka is arguably the best vodka I have ever had. It's just kinda hard to find.

Lemme tell you something, all these shenanigans could lead to oil sales being decoupled from the petrodollar.

In which case you and me and everybody in America is instantly 15% poorer.

You see that bridge? That bridge was supposed to be maintained by the (avg) 50 cents tax charged on every gallon of gas sold in America every day.

Plenty of money taxed for that. Why didn't it get maintained?

That bridge is in PA, where they charge 32 cents for every gallon of gas sold every day. + 18.5 cents for every gallon sold goes to the Fed every day.

Why do I feel we've had this conversation b4?
