Russian Vodka

Lemme tell you something, all these shenanigans could lead to oil sales being decoupled from the petrodollar.

In which case you and everybody in America is instantly 15% poorer.

You see that bridge? That bridge was supposed to be maintained by the (avg) 50 cents tax charged on every gallon of gas sold in America every day.

Plenty of money taxed for that. Why didn't it get maintained?

That bridge is in PA, where they charge 32 cents for every gallon of gas sold every day.

Not this time. Putin took on the world

Grey Goose is super smooth. Top of the line stuff.

If you want to support a NATO ally, Poland's Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka is arguably the best vodka I have ever had. It's just kinda hard to find.
One of the liquor stores here has open bottles of numerous products. The owner lets you taste them.
I bought a bottle of vodka in a long, beautiful bottle. (that won't fit in the freezer!)

I can't remember the brand, but it was three letters. It was as smooth as GG, but the same price. I'll have to go check the name next time I'm shopping.

That's nice, honey. :)

Yeah - he must have been too terrified of the guy who called him a "genius" and says "he likes me!"

Not a good talking point. If he was waiting for Trump to leave, he would have invaded last year.

So the answer is zero. The jello head you elected shits his own pants. He is a drooling idiot. I guess that is the best example of leftism.

Was it VKA?

Very stupid idea to underestimate the strategic “genius” of a communist prick like biden…oops, I meant Putin, sorry! I mean really, ‘tater head a genius? But I digress. Putin may not be a genius, but he knows how to fight a Russian war (basically, throw troops and equipment at the objective, and hang the cost. I also doubt pooty poot “liked” Trump, but I think he respected him.

Thank you for that strategic analysis, Field Marshall von barmaid, but that idiot putin didn’t even start positioning troops and equipment until March and April of last year, after he finished opening all the presents the ‘tater head gave him (basically the dismantling of the American fossil fuel industry). Not to mention it was springtime over there and Russian tanks and APCs aren’t really lifted 4X4 American pickups, and tend to get bogged down in the mud.

And how about those sanctions huh?! Do you remember much about russian communism before say, the 1980s? Very much like the chicoms, they were virtually a closed society. After that dumbass putin sweeps through Ukraine like a plague of locusts, he controls a pretty healthy percentage of all the fossil energy flowing to Western Europe. Then all he has to do is close down his country again and tell everyone to fuck off, and by the way, we were commies all along.

Think about it. He’s got all the dead dinosaurs HE needs, and he can either shut off the tap completely, charge prohibitively for it, or bargain for the rest of the old USSR. Wow, what a bonehead.

Let's watch how it plays out. I doubt anyone will be thinking Putin handled this well when all is said & done.

My strategic analysis is no different from the parrots saying that he was clearly waiting for Trump to be out of office before doing anything. It's just speculation, and not very good speculation. Putin doesn't seem to fear much right now, including the ire of the entire globe.

You're right about the oil - but that's WWIII stuff right there. STILL not very smart.

Russian Standard is pretty fine. I have a full bottle that I have yet to get to. It's what I drink with caviar.

He doesn't seem to fear Biden for sure.

That's pretty partisan-specific.

He's off the rails. He clearly doesn't fear destroying his own economy.
He didn't attack
During Trump and there hasn't been any changes in the Ukrainian political situation since Trump. So obviously Putin though now was the time he should attack. Biden's perceived weakness is the most obvious reason. Biden's cowardly botched exit from Afghanistan emboldened tyrants around the world. Right now if the world doesn't stand together and stop Putin China will do the same thing to Taiwan. The US needs to open up oil exploration on Federal lands it needs to allow fracking on Federal land it needs to restart the XL pipeline and strongly encourage energy independence. An energy independent America is a strong America. Right now we are paying millions a day to buy Russian oil which is produced with much fewer environmental concerns than we produce oil in the US with. We are actually hurting the environment more to burn oil produce in Russia and we are hurting the people of Ukraine.

Well, that covers pretty much all of the Fox talking points.

"Biden's perceived weakness is the most obvious reason" is a very partisan take.

Putin isn't afraid of Trump, wasn't afraid of Trump, and wouldn't be afraid of Trump. You can't just say "this happened now, so clearly, he was waiting for x." Not sure if you noticed, but Putin DOES NOT CARE. He doesn't care if Russia's economy crashes, if his people suffer, if he's a pariah around the globe for the rest of his days, and if he can never re-join the world community. He certainly wouldn't have cared about Trump, who said he's a genius and seemed flattered that Putin liked him.

Two days ago my wife was at the military liquor store....they were almost giving away Stoli to get it out the door.

She got some....bottled in Latvia but made in Russia.

The vodka was already paid for. The Russian makers got their money. The idea is to not buy any more. that harms them. Tossing out paid for vodka only hurts you.
