Dude, all the cops are pro-cops and they're saying Derek violated every procedure they had. He's not a rookie who made a mistake, he's a 19 year veteran.

The juror would not only have to be a Cop Bunny, but hate African-Americans and consider what Chauvin did a righteous act....like some JPP members are posting.

Eric Garner was murdered on national t.v.. The Staten Island (cop haven) grand jury refused to indict.

Agreed, but this one is on global television plus, and a very big plus, it was recorded six ways from Sunday. Balance the visual and audio evidence against the testimony that Chauvin broke every rule in the book and it doesn't look good for Chauvin.

How much money did Staten Island pay to settle with Eric Garner's family? How much did Minneapolis pay to settle with George Floyd's family?

The Chauvin case was exceptionally brutal in addition to a gross violation of all police procedure.

IMHO, the murder of George Floyd is a watershed moment. In many ways it's a Perfect Storm of police brutality against African-American citizens, the Social Media age and a nation that is shocked by the brutality of watching a man plead for his life as a brutal police officer murders him in broadlight for over nine minutes.

What I find oddest about this case is how many far Right Wingers, haters of the government and whiners about Wace and Ruby Ridge, are defending Derek Chauvin.

I've been thinking the same, but I just don't feel it coming. Of course, I have to catch up on my recordings of the trial. The fact that all were fired immediately is a positive. The fact that this even went to trial is a positive.

Let's see how this plays out.

Regardless of the outcome, it's going to be a game changer one way or another. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "George Floyd Law".

Floyd's murder will probably prove to be the tip over point where the nation starts moving in a better direction.

I'll have to look into that some more. It seems to me to be relevant that Chauvin was fired for doing the wrong thing. That doesn't in and of itself make Chauvin guilty of a crime, but it certainly deflates the defense that he can't be liable for killing Floyd because killing Floyd was what he was trained to do.

So was OJ's. It would be punitive. If he's found guilty, it's moot.
