The state of Florida has now stopped its medical examiners from releasing numbers about people who have died from COVID-19.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Florida’s state health department intervened earlier this month to suppress the medical examiners’ reports, which regularly showed death totals that were 10 percent higher than the official tallies put out by the state.

For the past nine days, no reports from the medical examiners have been made available to the public, and there’s no indication of when they will be released in the...

As has been already reported for months...CDC ICD-10 codes were not accurate for confirmed deaths due solely to Covid 19. They mixed in the "probable and possible", too.

Ok I was misled by a bogus report so shoot me, feel better now? Does it really matter how many deaths from the virus. The real data needed is why did they die. If the virus aggravated a pre existing condition that is important. If it created it's own deadly action then we really need that info! But fucking body counts? Give me a break. Still waiting for one of you leftie body counters to tell me how the body count contributes to the opening of states. We already know that the virus is deadlier to the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions. How does increasing the count change anything? If I am a governor I am going to use the data from social distancing is working plus if my state is seeing a weekly reduction in new infections and people getting better, those are the facts I would use. I see no valid reason why body counts can have any effect on reopening. Now if the deaths rise at the same rate or greater than new infections then and only then would they count.

Yes we are and I already know that about 5% of those overall will die if infected, and up to 11% in our age group.
