Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
30 years? Damn.
Will you be explaining how that can be done??
China is the enemy.
If the Chinese were invading California, the far left loons would be cheering for China.
“Useful idiots” as in the old USSR days.

Economic sanctions.

Yep....... They've been saying it for years & yet their economy continues to expand @ a much higher rate than ours...
I think even Jim Chanos has given up on trying to short the CCP..........
Petraeus maybe 3 years ago said "Yes the Chinese are building a lot of pretty good stuff for their military, yes they have aspirations, but it will take them 30 years to learn how to use it, we dont need to worry for awhile (paraphrase)".
Nope....for instance we just pulled our bombers out of Guam and back to North Dakota because they became sitting ducks, incapable of surviving long enough to fight, because the Chinese are getting very good very fast.
Do you remember this one?: "We dont need to worry about the Chinese, they are not capable of innovation".
Morons.
One thing we or anyone should do is underestimate our rivals........like When a Chinese Submarine Appeared In The Middle Of A Carrier Battle Group
It aint just China. It's China and Russia together, Chinese money and Russian tech savvy.
They are now able to field a unified command as well.
Our Russiaphobia (sanctions etc.) drove them together- undoing 40 years of US policy
( Nixon's China card/triangulation)
it's mutual.LOL, yea it's all the russian phobia, nothing of the china phobia driving them towards russia.....:
It's very late in the game, but Russia has the worst active cases of COVID. It's racing thru their population.
They can't be happy with China -it's an opportunity to pry them apart
unsupported puffery. That ship has sailed......Putin understands fully how weak America is now......He will not leave China now.....Putin picks winners.
He makes some very good & insightful points and arguments.. (per-Pandemic)
it's mutual.
But China has the SCO, and the economy to draw Russia into a sino-Russian partnership.
If we hadn't done sanctions and worked to bring Russia into the western economy (instead) -
China would not have so much sway over Russia economic needs.
Obama got that -the Russian reset as well
Instead our policies drove them into an uneasy economic/military partnership

Not sure if I agree with him on that; full blown military wars are obsolete as the human race would be in danger of becoming if we were to ever engage in a full blown war. I think it's a lose-lose scenario and as such a peaceful solution could be worked out if all three sides work together.
unsupported puffery.
It's not just Putin and the USA -it's Putin and Europe. I'm not saying it would happen -we have to stop funding Ukraine war in Donbass.
And Congress would scream Russiaphobia if we did -but Trump and Putin can at least stop the open hostilites
which would get NATO's attention
we need to end Cold War 2.0
