Russian Vodka

“In addition to official government sanctions, bars and liquor stores across the U.S. and Canada are attempting to economically hurt Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine by refusing to sell Russian vodka and other Russian liquor.”

Buy good old Texas vodka. Tito’s or Lone Star

To be honest I have been a Smirnoff vodka drinker for a long time, but I think its American made, so it might be safe.

America has plenty of American made good quality vodkas, although vodka is a Russian term.

We still weren’t energy independent, kittylumpkins, we were still importing foreign oil.
We were exporting more energy, sugerplum, than we imported. That made us energy independent and a net energy exporter. If you can read I encourage you to read this:

The United States became a net total energy exporter in 2019 for the first time since 1952 and maintained that position in 2020 even though both total energy production and consumption were lower in 2020 than in 2019. Total U.S. energy exports exceeded total energy imports by 3.46 quadrillion British thermal units (quads) in 2020, the largest margin on record. U.S. energy exports in 2020 totaled 23.47 quads, and energy imports fell 13% to 20.0 quads, the lowest level since 1992.

LOL. Nike stock has more than doubled since they hired Kap.

Yep. It was the best weight loss program for welfare recipients ever devised. Waste money on Chinese made shoes...

...gotta keep those Chinese kids makin' shoes for the Kaeperdick (Commie) supporters.

I thought of something ironic just now. Thanks for this analysis, by the way. There have been several threads here lately started by the MAGATs about the evils of electric vehicles. Yet at the same time, they are crying about us importing oil. Um, wouldn't using more EVs cut U.S. consumption and return us to either neutral or net exporters? Hmm?

What the fuck is a MAGAT?
Oh, and by the way, did you ever think of the hazards encountered by first responders (not to mention the environmental hazards) when an electric vehicle is involved in an accident?

True my son is a fire fighter and they have to be extremely careful not to electrocute themselves on EVs. As the number of different models come out the problem gets bigger.

Don't they have to go through special training before they encounter an electric car in an accident?
One wonders what would happen if an electric car is in an accident with a gasoline powered car. The
sparks from the electric car would pose more of a fire threat than 2 gas powered cars.

Nope prices were stable at about $50 a barrel. Then the China virus hit and consumption went down and oil prices collapsed. Biden came in and killed oil exploration on federal leases and halted fracking so investment in exploration fell and production fell. Then consumption returned to normal so we had to start importing more and we had less to export. Oil prices rose and gasoline prices rose. Biden begged OPEC and Russia to Pump more. They said no. The Us oil producers still have not caught back up from the damage done to them by Biden . If Biden had not kill the KL pipeline it would have helped when it was completed but Biden screwed that up on day one. So thanks Biden for putting the US in a weak position to make demands on Putin.

So Trump didn't force oil companies to cut oil production like you said. You lied
LOL. Who is the liar again?

What kind of people other than Russians or degenerate alcoholic Americans drink vodka in the 1st place?

Not my kind, I'll tell you that.
People like myself who don't like the taste of clear liquor once it's been put in burnt oak barrels for three years in order to make burnt oak tea.

Some truly nasty stuff, but that's just the cabinetmaker in me.

She has more than Y O U, that's for sure.

Why aren't you in Ukraine fighting Putin?

Rhetorical question.

You think boycotting vodka will make him stop.

Meanwhile...

Does anyone believe that bungling Biden's "sanctions" are anything but virtue-signaling?

Russia spends just .7 percent of its GDP on American imports and receives the rough equivalent of 1.5 percent of its GDP from the sales of its exports to the U.S.

And that's supposed to scare anyone?

Are you smarter than bungling Biden? Apparently not.

Preemptively letting an aggressor know that you aren't willing to fight for the object of their aggression is craven capitulation by proxy.

It's betrayal of the worst sort.

Now the people of Ukraine are paying the price.

For the stupid (I'm talking to Y O U, lefties):

  • I am not "siding with Putin against America". We don't have a dog in this fight.
  • I am not "praising Putin". He is what he is. And what he is right now is winning.
  • I am not "attacking Biden". I am saying that he was flat wrong to say the things he's said that made a touchy situation worse, not better. In fact, I doubt he even knows what's going on, really. He's doing what the Obama retreads that run his regime tell him to do, and mouthing the statements they prepare for him to recite.
  • I don't want America to attack Russia. I want America to stand ready to repair the damage bungling Biden has done with his ill-advised idiocy by rendering humanitarian aid to those injured by the imbecilic policy positions his regime has pushed.

^^^^ How to spot a Putin cocksucker ^^^

Isn't that Make American Great Again Trump? Trump's Magats? Seems fitting.
